We could not do it without volunteers!
The mission of CRC is to provide a helping hand or referral to people in need in our local coastal community, regardless of their age or financial situation.
Staffed by local community members, CRC is a group of concerned volunteers dedicated to transportation, providing our residents with up to date information, referrals and services.
We need volunteers to fulfill our mission to:
· Drive people to routine needs (medical appointments, food bank, bank, etc.)
· Answer telephones
· Process requests
· Coordinate rides
· Maintain and update files
· Assist with fundraising

Volunteer Drivers
Volunteer Driver Opportunities with CRC
CRC offers transportation services to coastal residents who are unable to drive for their routine needs, such as medical appointments, shopping, the Post Office, etc. A small group of dedicated volunteer drivers make this service possible and we are always looking for new drivers.
As a driver for CRC you can choose your time and availability (once a week, once a month, etc.). While some drivers commit to occasional runs to Santa Rosa some prefer to make only local runs and others do both. Any time drivers can commit is appreciated.
How it Works
CRC Office Volunteers match clients with qualified volunteer drivers, who attempt to meet client transportation needs such as:
· Medical or dental appointments
· Local community events
· Other essential needs (e.g. shopping, post office, the food bank, etc.)
We are also committed to providing a weekly van service to Santa Rosa.
Qualifications
We need people with a current California Driver’s License and up-to-date vehicle insurance who are willing to undergo a DMV background check and have a clean driving record to become a CRC Volunteer Driver.
